BJ Richards Flowers is a family run business growing and importing flowers from all over the world and selling them to the wholesale trade across Devon & Cornwall. We also supply our high quality flowers to markets in London, Leicester and Gateshead & open our Gardens yearly for charity under the National Garden Scheme.

Our family first started growing flowers here in the picturesque Tamar Valley following the decline in the Mining Industry in the mid 1800’s. That is when Albert Richards settled in Cargreen and took up his love of growing all things green by building a nursery in the heart of the village. Little over a hundred years and four generations later Barry Richards started constructing the current Nursery at the top of the village and over time it has continued to grow and evolve changing with time and trends to it’s current format which through this website you can see today.
